Last night two of our newest members graduated from the Toms River Fire Academy's Firefighter 1 and 2 summer class

Anthony Mondelli could not attend the ceremony as he left for the University of Maryland where he is pursuing a degree in fire protection engineering.

Robert "Bobby" Calvo was joined by his family and firefighters from Ocean Beach at last night's ceremony.

He was also awarded the Milan Spike Baran Award for achieving the highest score in this class of recruits.
